We'ik.. GIS pake database relational??? index-nya kan 1 dimensi saja doang :) ?? dijamin pusing poll.. :) pasti tu kalo mo nyari 1 tempat diantara ribuan kordinat bisa lammaaaa... apalagi nyari radius,shortest path..he he he...
coba deh pake database spatial, index-nya 2 dimensi (koordinat), tinggal nambahin altitude and atribut lain..beres.. trus bikin aja database engine sendiri, bikin query engine ndiri, buatin web service (yg satu ini "agak" ribet), dijamin lebih cepat. serius...ato kalo gak mo ribet bisa pake oracle spatial. soal interface relatif ma kebutuhannya kan.
