Hi Stephan, 1. Yes there is. If you build MITK, there is a target called MainApp. This is /the/ application of MITK. In your CMake configuration you will find some switches like BUILD_QmitkSliceBasedSegmentation. These turn on or off single program modules (functionalities). Just switch BUILD_QmitkSliceBasedSegmentation to ON and build MainApp again, it should be included then. 2. Yes, there are plans. We are working on a Qt4 version of MITK and SliceBasedSegmentation will be one of the first functionalities that we'll port. However, there is no fixed schedule. My current guess would be 8 to 12 weeks from now for a first version. 3. With Qt3 and 4 installed in parallel, you'll have to look carefully through your CMake settings. There is one variable DESIRED_QT_VERSION, which should be 3. Also check the handful of advanced settings like QT3_QGLOBAL_H_FILE. Make sure they point to your Qt3 installation. 4. A general remark: I'm currently working a little on some internals of SliceBasedSegmentation, so if you start extending the module, try to update regularly (there shouldn't be any major changes anymore). 5. If you make extensions that might be of general interest, you are more than welcome to contribute code. Just contact us about details. Best regards Daniel -- Dipl.-Inform. Med.
