Hi,

you are right, a roadmap would be very useful. However, there is none
yet, because this is all developed in parallel to doing thesis work. As
MITK grows, this will hopefully change some time.

Regarding your questions:

- Version 0.10 is not yet released, we are sorry for the confusion on
  the new website. It is currently tested and we'll announce the release
  on mitk-users (most probably before end of October -- cannot be
  definitive)

- There will be a new experimental application framework based on OSGI
  ideas. Loading images and reslicing them will work, but there are no
  application modules like "functionalities" yet

- We will port existing functionalities to the new application
  framework. However, like mentioned above, there is no roadmap for
  this. First functionalities to come are probably DataManager and
  InteractiveSegmentation.

- We welcome and encourage community contributions. So if you have free
  resources to contribute by porting parts to Qt4, please get in contact
  with us (also off the list if you want). We will most probably find
  suitable pieces to work on.
