Hi Phoenix,

this issue was fixed in revision 19554. As the openCherry framework is able to
start different applications depending on which "Application Plugin" is loaded
at startup you must provide the id of this application plugin. In Case of the
MITK ExtApp this is "/openCherry.application=org.mitk.qt.application". But as I
mentioned before, the Batch files are fixed in revision 19554. You were too
fast J

To whom it may be helpful,

I am currently working on a CT based tooth planting application development,
and I would like to use MITK as the base.
I have download MITK nightly from svn2 using version 19324 (which I found
there's an installer available as well).
After succeeded through cmake and VS2008 compiling processes, I started either
the following bat file under bin directory:

startCoreApp_debug.bat
startCoreApp_release.bat
startExtApp_debug.bat
startExtApp_release.bat

However, after showing some information in the command windows (please check
attached file),
it exits and nothing happen

I found there are two lines I don't understand:

! 0.00! WARNING: File not found: C:\Users\user\.ExtApp
! 0.95! WARNING: You must provide an application id via
"openCherry.application=<id>"

Following are my questions:
1. what is "C:\Users\user\.ExtApp" for?
2.
Should I need to add the openCherry.application=<id> in the
"startExtApp_release.bat" file or
"ExtApp.ini" as well as "solstice.ini"? Or anywhere eles? Also where can I
find a complete list for <id> reference?
Or which variable is for extapp?

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance!

Truly,

Phoenix Chen
