Hi, if you want to hide the tab, you have to add the view as a standalone view to your perspective. See IPageLayout::AddStandaloneView(...) http://docs.mitk.org/nightly-qt4/BlueBerry/reference/api/html/structberry_1_1IPageLayout.html . Of course, then the user will not be able to drag the view. Maybe detaching via the method I suggested below still works.
Hiding the title bar is not possible with BlueBerry. Maybe you have better chances to try to get the QWidget parent of the view gui elements and display the widget fullscreen with Qt methods, after detaching the view.
