Hi again Sebastian, I experienced the same behavior some time ago. As far as I can remember the crash was caused because the RenderWindow(s) were destroyed before the VtkLayerController destructor was called causing an invalid pointer access. Actually, I thought I fixed it at that time (hopefully I did :) ). Please let me know if you have still problems and which version you use. Feel free to open a bug on that issue: http://bugs.mitk.org
