Hi Miklos, we are using the Bugzilla Inbound Email Interface (http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/3.0/html/api/email_in.html) to modify bugs from within a git hook. The git hook itself is a python script which uses GitPython to easily extract information for the incoming commits from our repositories.
