Hi MITK users,

Here are some news to bring you up-to-date to current MITK developments.

Recently, a new system has been introduced in the MITK Core library, the so-called "MITK $\mu$Services" (MITK Micro-Services).

It provides a dynamic service registry which enables service-oriented architectures in MITK. The design is again very similar to OSGi, but without the "module lifecycle layer" (which removes a lot of complexity).

The system is ready to use and you can browse the doxygen documentation here: http://docs.mitk.org/nightly-qt4/group__MicroServices.html

There will also be a presentation about it soon, which will be made available. We will gradually modify some of the existing MITK code to take advantage of this new system.

Thanks,
Sascha
