Dear Ellen,
zooming in 2D is done with the right mouse button and panning with middle mouse
button (excluding Mac).
In case this doesn't work, please check the console of the application. If
there is an error message on startup of the application telling that
interaction could not be initialized properly, then check your application
setup. The file statemachine.xml has to be detected by the application. Here
important state machine patterns necessary for interaction are defined and
generically loaded.

Best regards,
Ingmar

Hello Ingmar,
I could zoom in or out in 3D very well but not in transversal, sagittal, or
coronal. How do I zoom in or out in Transversal, Sagiital, Coronal view?

Thanks,
Ellen

Dear Ingmar,
It is very nice to hear from you. Thank you for quick response.
How do I refer to the sourceforge list?

Best,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,
please always refer to the sourceforge list, so everybody can join the
discussion.

.mitk files are project files, that contain several data sets and properties
how they were arranged in the data storage. You can save project files using
the "Save Project" button.
If you want to store a single file, please right-click the data in the
datamanager and select "Save...".
There you have different file types mainly provided by itk IO classes. For
images we currently use .nrrd file format.
Also see the entry "Sets of 2D slices (*.dcm *.bmp...)" and check if this fits
your needs.
Best regards,
Ingmar
