Hi all, I just updated the DicomSeriesReader a bit to expose DICOM tags as MITK properties to the generated DataNode. E.g. you will get Properties such as
dicom.patient.PatientsName dicom.series.Modality dicom.series.PatientPosition and so on. Some might help applications/algorithms to behave appropriately. As a side improvement, MITK now uses information from the DICOM VOI LUT module to initialize its default level/window setting (namely tags 0028,1050/1051). Since we are not sure how reliable this information is in reality, I'm asking for your feedback on this topic, esp. when you encounter images that are not displayed nicely. Anything to improve default L/W guessing is highly appreciated.
