Hi

I currently cannot visualize color images (loading works) and thought that
maybe this is affected by the new pic changes, therefore I build those older
branch... (I worked on other non mitk related project, therefore I have the old
branch stored..., normally I am updating my branch more often).

I have no idea which commit affected that behavior so I am currently using a 5
month old MITK where it worked... (and try and error compilation sucks..., so
the lost RGB support must be anywhere between today and 5 month ago...)

Best regards

Hi Gerald,
the git commit hash-value hint was meant for users who have current
developments using the old IpPic library as backup in case the changes I have
merged into the master branch on Tuesday will conflict with their development.
For a complete new build (clone), you should take the latest master commit.

Best,
Jan

Sry

So i also build version 1871450c40e0de0f000ab27db10c920149884b04 like Jan
supposed it on thesday, color images are not visualized eighter.

So it would be a very interesting feature of supporting RGB :)

Hi

I tested a 8 bit Lab tiff (which worked on older MITK), a 16 bit Lab tiff
(which seems to be not supported by ITK, VTK or MITK, also old one), a 8 bit
RGB tiff, a 8 bit bmp, a bmp etc.. Every image, expect the 16 bit Lab, works on
previous versions of mitk (all are 2D only).

Do you know the git version where last rgb support was? I will test it with
that one of Herig Jan from his mail of Thuesday...

Grayscale images work (I currently only tested DICOM but I need RGB for some
quick tests).

Can you may tell me if RGB is supported again? Did you know the correct way of
loading 16 bit tiff (or floating point tiff) data?

Best regards

Hi Gerald,
there are currently some issues with multiple component images and the level
window. Which image exactly did you load? And did you also try a gray scale
image?

Regards
Thomas

Ok, now I tested it with the default settings of cmake without openCV and
without boost, results stay the same

3D CT image are displayed correctly, so there seems to be a problem with 2D
data or color data...

Hi

I did not do anything with mitk the last 6 month so i wanted to check out whats
new. So I downloaded today the project template, checked on the OpenCV and
boost opportunity (without tests) and build it successfully with Qt 4.7.3 (64
bit) on 64 bit Release. I only wanted to check new things so I did not changed
anything (so my Project is called AwesomeProject).

When I start AwesomeProject the GUI appears successfully. But when I load any
bmp, jpeg, tiff or anything else I got nothing displayed, sagittal coronal etc.
remain black (also the reinit does not appear). After global reinit the cross
appears but image remains black (yes it is visible and there is no opacity
etc., everything is default).

Details in Datamanager seems to be good.

Any ideas?

PS: I get an null pointer exception very often without any specific interaction.
