Hi
I already deleted the build and source but i downloaded the latest version last
week (64 bit in release over the project template). I loaded different color
images, I got right pixel information at the status bar (so image reader must
work correctly) but nothing was painted in sagittal etc.). Currently I work on
a 6 month old mitk again where color images are working...
Maybe I will test it again next week, currently I am a little bit busy.
Best regards

Hi,
color images are supported by MITK. I tested it a few days ago with jpeg and
png files and it worked fine for me. Can you tell me at which MITK version and
which system configuration your problems with colored images occured?

Alfred

Hi
Yes i currently use the ImageMagick to convert it to png's but this way is
really nasty.
Are color images supported by current MITK, I tested it last week and they
doesn't work any more so I jumbed back to a really old one.
Best regards

Hi,
the Nikon NEF file format is not supported by MITK. TIFF (16 bit) is currently
also not supported but may be an interesting feature (see feature request
http://bugs.mitk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10823).
At the moment you can convert your images to a file format which is supported
by MITK (perhaps png is a good idea since it also supports 16 bit) and then
load them into MITK.

Alfred

Hi
Has anyone experience with Nikon NEF, 16bit or float Tiff's?. I like to import
my Nikon images into MITK.
Seems that 16 bit or float tiffs are not supported. NEF allows loading data but
shrinks the image to a very small size (100x160 pixels from 4288x2848), also
the bit depth gets downscaled to 8 bit data. Also big data in 8 bit tiff mode
gets prohibited (not possible to load).
Best regards
