Hi there, I have Nifti images with rotated geometries, and in this case, the Reinit function does not work. I can see these bugs:
6278, 8350, 8477, 8906, 8909, 8910 with possibly the most interesting being 8477, and 8910, with 8477 marked as "high critical" and "in progress", which sounds good. So, how are we doing with this? In addition, does anyone have experience of using the nifti sform and/or qform? I believe that ITK readers only load in the qform matrix, not the sform. Typically, I see the qform used to represent various axes orientations, such as flipping or rotating by 90 degrees and the sform used to represent a registration to some standard space. So, if you register (affine only) two images together you can store the transformation in the sform without resampling the image. It would be good to have this loadable directly into MITK, as then images appear automatically aligned. Has anyone tried this? or is anyone aware of any other image format where this does currently work?
