Hello everyone,
We are working on an application that has a custom view part that
intends to sit in place of the Data Manager. I am trying to get
selection events to fire from this custom view part to other plugins.
However, I have discovered that selection events from plugins are
filtered out and those events originating from the Data Manager are
allowed to pass. In BlueBerrySelectionChanged method of both
QmitkAbstractView and QmitkFunctionality, there is a statement with a
hard-coded string checking for the Data Manager.
I was wondering, can some modifications be made to the system to allow
for filtering the select events rather than forcing all plugins to rely
on events only from a Data Manager? Any advice on this is greatly
appreciated.
