Hi Tom,

of course, this is possible with MITK :)
The way to go is:
1. Make sure you have activated USE_OpenCV during superbuild
2. Use the class mitk::OpenCVVideoSource (from the module "OpenCVVideoSupport")
to grab the images from your avi
3. Use the class mitk::OpenCVImageToMitkImage (I think this was the name) to
convert the opencv image to a MITK image
OR work directly with the OpenCV image

An Example how to use the classes are given by the bundle
org.mitk.gui.qt.examplesopencv

Have fun,
Michael

Betreff: [mitk-users] AVI files

HI
I was wondering is it possible to read .avi files directly in MITK ?
If so what method/class would be used i had a quick look at mitk::filereader
but don't think that will be useful.

Many thanks
Tom
