I'm sorry that I did not reply in time. The following information is for your
question. I will explain it as detailed as possible:
1.My OS is 32-bit Windows 7
2.MITK is MITK-2012.06.00-win32.exe
3.Problem is when I load a dicom file, MITK gives nothing response. The MITK of
same version on my classmate's computer can work normally.
I'm sorry I can's provide the data.
Thank you.

Hello all MITK users,

the MITK application "ExtApp" was renamed to "mitkWorkbench". Thus, you
can now use the project "mitkWorkbench" instead of "ExtApp" when coding
/ working with MITK.

Regards,

Alfred

Hi all,

I was wondering if one can enable the console window using the binary
2012.06 release. I haven't found a hint in the documentation.

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

whether the console window is shown or not is configured during CMake
configuration of the project. For the MITK binary releases we chose to disable
the console window. We will release a new version at the end of this month,
which will include a logging view. This view will log all output similar to the
console while including extra functionality such as a search.

Regards,
Caspar

hello. I have installed the MITK, but there are some problems. After loading a
DICOM, there is no response. My OS is 32-bit windows, but the CPU is X64. I
don't know whether it is because of this. Wish your response, thank you.

Hello dear user,

Based on the information provided in your e-mail it is rather difficult to give
a definite answer. I am assuming you downloaded the installer from here [1] and
are using windows. Loading of a large dicom data set (especially if you are
loading from a non-local drive) may take some time, which might account for
lack of response (for a couple of minutes). If your data set is especially
large memory management issues can be the reason, as your system is not able to
find a large enough continuous memory block.
We are not aware of any specific problems in regards to 32 Bit OS an 64 Bit
system, but are using 64 Bit OS almost exclusively.

For a more helpful and specific answer we need some more information:

1. What operating system are you using (Mac, Linux, Windows)?

a. 32 or 64 Bit?

b. Which version of the OS?

2. Which version of MITK are you using?

a. Downloaded binary/installer?

                                                               i. Which
version? (If in doubt give the name of the installer file)

b. Downloaded source/self compiled?

                                                               i. Which
version? (Commit Hash)

                                                             ii. Which
compiler version did you use?

                                                            iii. Please
see also [2]

3. What is the problem?

a. What are you doing?

b. What is the response of MITK?

                                                               i. Can it
be reproduced?

1. If possible it is very helpful if you can provide the data, so we can
reproduce it ourselves.

                                                             ii. If it
freezes, what is your computer doing?

1. Is it swapping/Is your memory running full?

2. Is your CPU load high?

3. Does the entire OS freeze?

                                                            iii. Is there
an error message/console output?

1. What does it say?

c. What do you expect should happen?

It would be great if you could provide additional information, so we can help
you more efficiently.

Regards,
Caspar
