Hi Wagner, we are currently working on compatibility with ITK 4, but there are still some issues [1]. I am not aware of anybody trying to compile against the VTK head, so I can not help you there. We are currently testing VTK 5.10 and so far have not encountered any issues. You can activate it by setting the superbuild CMake flag MITK_USE_VTK_5_10_IN_SUPERBUILD to ON. This flag will be removed once we use 5.10 as default version of VTK build during superbuild.
