Hello Sascha, same problem here on Debian (6.0.6) stable. Using a self compiled Qt 4.7.4 and current MITK (+ Template) from GitHub. No cmake options changed (except qmake location). In my case "AwesomeApp" crashes directly with a segmentation fault (the GUI never shows up). The line sbConfig->setString(berry::Platform::ARG_PRELOAD_LIBRARY, "liborg_mitk_gui_qt_ext,libCTKDICOMCore:0.1"); seems to solve that problem for me, too.
