Hi Silviana,
In fact, you can develop closed or open source software using Qt/MITK.
MITK is BSD-like: http://www.mitk.org/License. This license are one of most
permissive in open source world.
In case of MITK you can link closed source software statically or
dinamically. In case of Qt, only dinamically for closed source.
