Hi Federico, If you can provide a sample that looks strange to you, I'd be happy to have a look. Regarding oblique acquisitions, the difference is in the relative position of neighboring slices. With a tilt, neighboring slices just don't "fit" into an orthogonal box as expected by most algorithms/rendering. Perhaps the image in http://mitk.org/ChangeRequests/11106 illustrates this in an understandable way?
