Hi Antonio,

here you can find the supported platforms:
http://docs.mitk.org/nightly-qt4/SupportedPlatformsPage.html

Windows 8 and VS 2012 is not supported, yet. Any feedback you can tell about it
is welcome.

In the latest stable release, we use ITK 3.20 and VTK 5.10 (VTK 5.6 and VTK 5.8
should also work in principle). In the current master we already switched to
ITK 4.3. See http://www.mitk.org/Build_requirements (slightly outdated) for
more details about the toolkits. You can always check the ITK/VTK version in
your build folder.

Best regards
Thomas

Subject: [mitk-users] MITK, VS2012, ITK and VTK versions

Hi,

I'm considering to start using MITK as a framework for my future developments.
Until now, I had been using GIMIAS, but different reasons made me want to
change.

I'm having some problems to compile it under Windows 8 and VS Express 2012 by
following all the steps from the web page. For me it looks like there are some
problems in finding QT libraries. I tried with QT versions 4.6, 4.8 and 5. I
guess the problem is more related to the VS version. Does anyone have
experience with this?

Another question I have is that I don't find any information about which ITK
and VTK versions are used in MITK. Could anyone tell me where to find this
information? It's important for me because I'm working with the last versions
of both libraries.

Thanks a lot.
