It all depends... especially the term "real time" can have very
different meanings. Another question is what you mean with "3D model"
(an unstructured 3d volume mesh?)
MITK is very well suited to integrate your own algorithms which e.g.
create a segmentation of the abdomen and create a volume mesh (3d model)
out of it. There are many segmentation filters available in MITK through
e.g. ITK. Mesh creation is something where you would also use other
toolkits for (tetgen, CGAL, etc.).
