Dear MITK-users,
we recently reworked the integration of OpenCV in MITK and this is an E-Mail to
inform you about the updates.
First of all, we updated our superbuild to use OpenCV 2.4.6.1 instead of 2.4.2.
This was necessary to support Visual Studio 2012 builds out of the box. The new
version is backwards compatible and should (hopefully) not break your existing
OpenCV code.
The next thing we did is to integrate the itk::OpenCVImageBridge class in our
OpenCVVideoSupport module which makes the conversion filters (OpenCV image <->
MITK image) much more stable and maintainable. *Attention*: If you do a pull
from the repository you should configure your superbuild with cmake and build
it. The OpenCVImageBridge module must be built with ITK which is automatically
done by the superbuild project. Pulling and building just the MITK project will
raise errors like "Cannot find include file itkOpenCVImageBridge.h".
That's it, bye
Michael
