Hi Nil, I once started to implement the possibility to have submenu for the context menu of the data manager. The original reason was to have a image masking functionality for segmentation images in the context menu. You can have a look at the changes in the following branch:
bug-12480-MaskImageOptionInContextMenu Unfortunately I didn't find the time to finished it yet. Your request is the perfect reason proceed with this issue :) I will try to finish it during the next weeks.
