Hi Peter, thank you for reporting this issue! First of all I would like to know whether this bug also is present in the current release (2013.09). Could you try this version out? In your email regarding the duplicate slices I noticed that you have enabled the 3D interpolation and apparently had a lot of contours. Maybe you can try to disable the 3D interpolation and test whether the error still exists.
