Hi, we found out that this is a known issue caused by the way the rendering deals with the data. As a workaround try to set "in plane resample extent by geometry" to true.
We might change this behavior (See bug 16383) but need to do further research. With a low resolution and high resolution test image, the low resolution one is rendered in the incorrect place.
