hey,
I am trying to trying to crop a region froma volumetric data. according to
the documentation I think the mitk::boundingobjectcutter class should be
help me get the cropped ROI.
For this purpose, I need a bounding object pointer with the parameters for
the bounding box which I have done and to saved to a geometry3D pointer .
But to use the member function mitk::BoundingObjectCutter::FitGeometry() i
need to be able to use a pointer to a boundingobject which I have not been
able to do using the 'New()' though it is present as an inherited member
function from the mitk::Surface class.
I get the error :
error: conversion from 'mitk::Surface::Pointer {aka
itk::SmartPointer<mitk::Surface>}' to non-scalar type
'mitk::BoundingObject::Pointer {aka
itk::SmartPointer<mitk::BoundingObject>}' requested
I have been stuck with this error before in another case. Can anybody help
with info on where this originates from and how to get around this ?
Thanks in advance
