Hi Annabelle, you can use the Segmentation plugin to segment the object you are interested in. Stick to the user manual (F1 key in the Workbench while active plugin) to get to know the different possibilities. After you have a binary segmentation you can right-click the binary image in the DataManager and create a smoothed surface out of it. This will create a separate node in the DataManager which you can right-click to save it as *.stl. And there you have your 3D mesh from the object of interest which you can import into different applications. (What do you want to do in Meshlab?)
