I come to you with a request : allowing the display of *.mha files in the
"Open" dialog. Those files are supported (ITK), but not displayed.
Necessary changes :
mitkImageWriter.cpp, function GetFileDialogPattern(), line 467 :
from : "MetaImage (*.mhd);;"
to : "MetaImage (*.mhd *.mha);;"
I prefer MHA over MHD (single file), and MHA/MHD fits all my requirements
(scalar type from uchar to float, vector type, [2/3/4]D, readable in
ITK/MITK/ImageJ/MATLAB, etc.).
However, when working with medical staff, we have to explain every time to
drag'n'drop the file, etc.
It resembles more of an omission than something deliberate.
