?Thanks Keno.
Also, does MITK support NDI Certus Optotrak?
We also have an Ascension 3DG, so I can see that there are classes for
MicroBird. Did MicroBird become Ascension 3D Guidance? i.e. will the same
software work?
Thanks
M

Subject: AW: Micro Services for Tracking Devices?
Hi Matt,
Yes, there is, and we are actually on the road to doing this. In the current
version of MITK, all trackingDataSources can be registered as a Microservice.
Same goes for toolStorages. Depending on what version you use, this behavior
should be implemented already. You can use the QmitkServiceListWidget to see
the currently available services in a plugin for example. We use this to let
users select an Ultrasound device and a tracking device for navigation
applications. I can send code if that would help. Should be available in the
earliest release from this year I think.
Kind regards,
Keno

Betreff: [mitk-users] Micro Services for Tracking Devices?
Hi there,
i quite like the idea of micro services for the ultrasound sources.
Is there any plan on the roadmap to move tracking devices in the same direction?
Also, for an ultrasound device, there is a "Video Input" type to handle all
those types that are taken from a frame grabber.
Would this not be suitable for all video frame grabbers, or is there something
specific to ultrasound imaging that I have overlooked?
Thanks
Matt
