I had a look how it is done in the DiffusionImaging module. It seems to me
too restrictive in the sense that the pixel types and dimensions are hard
coded in the Read / Write functions.
mitk::ItkImageIO looks like a more general approach to me.
Could you please export it so that people could wrap their custom ITK
ImageIO classes?
