I found where the "problem" comes from.

Deformable and advance rigid view were removed for the 2014.10.0 release 
( see 
https://github.com/MITK/MITK/commit/42d746334422614913853382c7e5ec856de182a2 
).
This was reverted later on ( see 
https://github.com/MITK/MITK/commit/959f899002cce590a193072ae376a25e197dd89d 
).
So this seems to be an issue only for 2014.10.0 release.
