Hi Marco,

please keep the discussion on the list.

I am still not sure what the problem is. I assume you encountered a build error
on Linux? Maybe providing the answers to the following questions might help
getting us on the same page:

· On what system do you work? (Linux/Windows/Mac, which OS-Version, 32
or 64 bit)

· What compiler do you use? (e.g. gcc, VC9, VC10, clang)

· Which tool did you use to build the project? (e.g. cmake, also
provide the version number)

· Which version of MITK did you try to build/compile? (please also
provide the branch name or the hash value of the git version)

· If you used a current version of MITK (branch master): did you check
the MITK dashboard (cdash.mitk.org), if the version did compile on the
continous dart clients?

· What build failed? (superbuild or normal build)

· What was the error output?

Taken from [1]. You can also take a look at our FAQ [2].

Best,
Caspar

Hi Marco,

I am not sure I understand what your problem is. You managed to build MITK
using MS VS on windows but not using Qt Creator on Ubuntu? I assume just
cmaking and then making it works fine? Is the problem opening the CMake project
using Qt creator? If so this video tutorial [1] might be helpful.

Regarding your .dll/.so question you might need to give more context, I have no
idea what you are asking.

Best,
Caspar
