Hi Scott,

the guys are still working on their contribution, but I guess the pull request
[1] from November will give you an idea on what's different.

Excellent. Please be specific, however, as we are using this code. Which
classes will be replaced? Will they be replaced with classes that have similar
usage, interfaces, and behaviour?

Hi Scott,

we will probably replace the code for the QML example with code which will be
kindly provided to us by students of the university of Regensburg. They opened
a github pull request for an older version of that code[1]. We did meet with
them and talked about it, but have currently no fixed ETA for their
contribution.

Best,
Caspar

Salutations:

We were using the QmlMitkRenderWindowItem in a previous version of the MITK,
and have noticed that it has been broken in the 2015.05 MITK release.
Specifically, when you apply a transform to the widget it does not respond
appropriately.

I have modified the QuickRender.qml file from the QuickRender example to
illustrate the problem with a rotation. Just replace the QuickRender.qml with
the version attached to this email and rebuild the QuickRender example. When
you run the QuickRender executable, just mouse over the rectangle in the center
of the screen labelled "Mouse here to rotate". You will see the frame of the
QmlMitkFourRenderWindowWidget rotate properly, but the individual
QmlMitkRenderWindowItems will show the bug.

Any thoughts on how to proceed?
