In that case we can probably offer limited suggestions for your Qt application
problems as this is your own code. What you probably want to do is:
1) Build MITK with “MITK_USE_BLUEBERRY” set to off
2) Take a look at tutorial step 6 [1], as it showcases some basic region
growing functionality without the application framework
However be aware that the code in the plugins directory can only be a rough
hint at what to do, as it heavily depends on the expectation of being a plugin
within the BlueBerry framework. So you might have to do a lot of tinkering if
you are using the segmentation plugin it as a starting point.

Thank you for the reply.
I have created my own QT application after the MITK build. I do not want to use
all the facilities in the existing application and i do not want to use the
blueberry plugin. I want my custom made QT application for only loading images
in all the views and also to implement segmentation functionality.
Can you advise me on how i go about this further?

first case I would assume you do not need to create your own Qt Project? In the
second case a lot could go wrong (so I would only recommend this for
experienced users).
What is the aim you are trying to achieve? Do you want to use the BlueBerry
framework or something much more custom?

Hello All,
I have been using MITK for 2 weeks now. I want to customize the existing
application to my own needs. So i have created a QT project after the MITK
Build. In the default build that has the AwesomeApp, the MITK workbench is
loading fine, But when i create a QT project in the visual studio 2013, and try
to build the workbench code with QT application, it is building fine. But i am
getting run time errors as below :
