Hi and welcome to the MITK community,
we need more information to be able to give a helpful answer like what version
of MITK do you use? For now I can just guess that you tried to open
MitkWorkbench.exe directly. That doesn’t work. You need to start the Workbench
with the appropriate batch file. Either startMitkWorkbench_release.bat or
startMitkWorkbench_debug.bat. These batch files set up the paths to all
dependencies and are located in the parent directory of MitkWorkbench.exe.

This is my first go at mitk.
I managed to build mitk project using cmake 3.7.0 and visual studio 2013
I am using windows 7
But when I try to launch mitkworkbench.exe it gives following error
