Dear MITK developers, has there been any progress with the idea of an SDK installer for MITK (and its external projects) ?
Lately we are struggling with the old problem of too long path strings on Windows (VC12). In the past we have used the workaround to build all binaries from source at a top level folder and then to copy all files to a different folder as foreseen within our build environment (binary repository). While copying we replaced all absolute path instances with the new path. Worked so far! Lately we had changes within our build environment which slightly increased the path strings in general. For MITK and its external projects we again reached the limit so I simply wanted to raise the question how the status of the SDK installer is. We could contribute to this if we know the right direction. ;) All the necessary information should already be contained in cmake, right?
