Hi all,
I'm trying to do the registration for a rigid-body (book, box, whatever)
using IGT Tracking Lab. As a tracking device I have a polaris ndi camera. I
start with the IGT-Tracking Toolbox and add the calibration files of my
pointer and my object. As an object stl file I used the book.stl. After that
I push the button "tracking" and in IGT Example: Tracking Lab I use for
configuration under available navigation data sources for tools: my pointer
as a Pointer and my model as Objectmarker. Under Object Selection I use
again the book.stl model.
Then i start with the initial registration. in object fiducials I added 4
conrners of the book and in tracker fiducials i added also 4 points. I push
then "register (object moved") and the result is: the image fiducials move
to tracker fiducials (not all of them: in my case only 3 out of 4) but the
object (book) stays in its position. My question is: Am I doing the
registration correctly? Should the object marker be in a special position on
the rigid body (real book)? Or Is my code for the IGT Tracking Lab not
working? I am attaching the cpp files and a picture of the Tracking-Lab
which shows the used files.
