Hi Jaafar,

welcome to the MITK community. To crop an image you could use the Image Cropper
plugin for example. It is the kind of box-shaped icon in the General toolbar.
You also have the option to roughly pre-segment your structure of interest and
right-click on your segmentation in the Data Manager -> Autocrop. This will
crop the segmentation to your ROI but still leave the source image untouched.
However, as the view is bound to the segmentation during segmentation, you only
see the source image inside the ROI. If you want to see everything again, you
could right-click on the source image in the Data Manager -> Reinit, or Global
Reinit to focus on all images/objects of the scene.

We also provide pixel-perfect masking in the Segmentation Utilities plugin
which requires that the source image and the segmentation are of the same size
though.

Best,
Stefan

Subject: [mitk-users] Segmentation of a specific ROI

Dear All,

I am a new MITK user. I have loaded DICOM CT images into MITK tool. I want to
define a volume that will occupied by ROI in which I will make an organ
segmentation. However, I can find any way to do that.
Can you give me any suggestion.

Thanks,

Regards.
Jaafar.
