Hi Florian, thank you for your structured report, very much appreciated.
Can you please check if you selected the 64Bit Generator in CMake? It should be ,,Current Generator: Visual Studio 15 2017 Win64‘‘. Suppose, that’s fine, can you send the actual compiler output if you double click on the Error message in Visual Studio, and then switch to the output tab at the bottom. There should be a more detailed error log. Best, Tobias Von: Florian Vlad [mailto:florian....@gmail.com] Gesendet: Montag, 12. Which tool did you use to build the project? -> CMake 3.14.6 Which version of MITK did you try to build/compile? -> * I used the tutorial: http://mitk.org/wiki/Developer_Tutorial_201804(Microsoft_Windows) * so for both: https://github.com/MITK/MITK-ProjectTemplate (hash: 5e8c6cda712dd9de8957b4e3a9a7d480f268fe17) and https://github.com/MITK/MITK.git (Hash: 8df9b337939ab120e900e95e5574654901249455) I used the master branch. If you used a current version of MITK (branch master): did you check the MITK dashboard (cdash.mitk.org<http://cdash.mitk.org>), if the version did compile on the continous dart clients? -> did not do this until now but I did it now and as far as I saw it all compiles. What build failed? -> the superbuild What was the error output? -> * as stated above I tried to follow for the build all the instructions found in: http://mitk.org/wiki/Developer_Tutorial_201804(Microsoft_Windows) . If there is something else that I need to do please let me know. Also the QT version installed is: 5.11.2 in order to work with msvc2017_64 * the thing that what ever I do I always get the following errors, even if in the tutorials it states the only thing that the user has to do is to install manually the QT. * Output generated by CMake: Performing Test HAS_FLAG_-std=c14 Performing Test HAS_FLAG_-std=c14 - Success Generated: E:/MITK-ProjectTemplate/Project.xml Custom ITK CMake args: -DModule_TextureFeatures:BOOL=ON;-DModule_RLEImage:BOOL=ON;-DModule_IsotropicWavelets:BOOL=ON;-DModule_PrincipalComponentsAnalysis:BOOL=ON ------- FEATURE SUMMARY FOR MITK-superbuild ------- -- The following REQUIRED packages have been found: * Qt5Core (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5Concurrent * Qt5Gui (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5OpenGL * Qt5PrintSupport * Qt5Script * Qt5Sql * Qt5Svg * Qt5Widgets * Qt5Xml * Qt5Network (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5XmlPatterns * Qt5Qml (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5Quick (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5WebChannel (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5Positioning (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5WebEngineCore (required version >= 5.11.2) * Qt5WebEngineWidgets * Qt5UiTools * Qt5Help * Qt5LinguistTools * Qt5 (required version >= 5.11.1) Configuring done * Error list from building the superbuild using Visual Studio 2017 (these errors appear even if in the build folder I have all the directories stated here) [build errors.JPG] -- Kind regards, Ing.
