Hi Bernard, what version of MITK do you use? I would have expected to see the pixel type mentioned in the message like: "Error when calculating statistics: Error while running computation. Error description: Failure while calculating the statistics: Pixel type >>>rgba<<< is not in (int)( unsigned int)( short)( unsigned short)( char)( unsigned char)(double)( float)" Right-click on our image in the Data Manager and select "Show Details" to see the PixelType of the image. For now, I will file a ticket in our system that the Statistics plugin should actually show an error in the GUI for unsupported pixel types and abort calculation.
