Hi, I just switched off MITK_SHOW_CONSOLE_WINDOW to OFF in my develop branch MITK-build and the console window disappeared. Which OS and version are you using? Did you regenerate the CMake files after switching it off?
It is supposed to influence the "Linker > System > SubSystem" project property of the MitkWorkbench project in the MITK solution. Instead of "Console (/SUBSYSTEM:CONSOLE)" it should display "Windows (/SUBSYSTEM:WINDOWS)".
