my name is Leandro Leal. I'm a Brazilian student in computer science for 3
years.
*My skills:*
I have intermediate experience with java and php languages. I implement
simple programs in C and C++ on the College, so I have basic experience with
this languages. My english knowledge is intermediate.
I'm easily understand others source codes. I worked with other Open Source
projects like: Joomla <http://www.joomla.org/>,
Geotools<http://www.geotools.org/>,
uDig <http://udig.refractions.net/>, Mapserver <http://mapserver.org/> and a
Brazilian project i3geo <http://mapas.mma.gov.br/i3geo/>
*My work:*
Today I work on Laboratory of image processing and GIS with computer support
and program development. I developed the lab's
website<http://www.lapig.iesa.ufg.br/lapig/>and the lab's Webmap
<http://www.lapig.iesa.ufg.br/i3geo>
*Experience on Mixx:*
I started use Mixxx on version 1.6 with my BCD3000 midi controller on
ArchLinux. I'm DJ of Electro-House and Psy-Trance.
*Experience on GSoc:*
I worked on GSoc at 2008 on the OpenJUMP project. My project was
develop a "Graphical
Modeling for Geographic Data
Processing"<http://code.google.com/soc/2008/osgeo/appinfo.html?csaid=BC9E05A9D722FC5D>for
OpenJUMP based on SEXTANTE
GIS <http://www.sextantegis.com/> on gvSIG.
I didn't finish my project because the SEXTANTE was ported for OpenJUMP.
*Why I choose this idea ?*
I choose this idea because I think, today, it is the top priority feature on
Mixxx. I haven't experience on Mixxx program and work with QT directly on
User Interface will more easy for me.
