Maybe it is misplaces in the vamp dependency and should be moved here: https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/blob/1.12/build/depends.py#L1124 Did you try to build Mixxx without vamp? I think this is not a desired (tested) configuration. I am just trying to build mixxx with "scons vamp=0" to see what happens. By the way: Please make sure you provide taglib 1.10 along with Mixxx for Mageia, since Mixxx together with taglib 1.9 is suffering some crashers.
