I compiled, installed, and the ran Mixxx from Subversion (trunk). Here

I do not have OpenGL drivers installed, having ineffectively spent
days and days trying to install nvidia's drivers for this GeForce 8600
GT card under Kubuntu.
Either way, the desktop works fine under the default Vesa driver. Does
Mixxx need OpenGL to display PNG images? ;-)
