It's another thing I did for the Xponent but hopefully in a reusable way. However, the transform buttons on the Xponent (and most mixers that have them) are located on either side of the crossfader, and their function depends on which way the crossfader is pointing. They basically reverse the sense of the crossfader for as long as they're held down -- but only the button on the same side as the crossfader's current position has an effect. This may or may not be a good fit for your case, I'm not familiar with the Faderfox.
