Anyone who uses Slackware must be a master of compiling... (I'm not even
that brave).
The source code for 1.6.0 is housed in the SVN repository on sourceforge,
you need to check it out w/ a subversion client.
You can read about how to get the source code and what the build deps are on

When we finally do the release, trunk will branch with a 1.6.0 label, until
the release everything new is done in trunk.
