Hi

Albert said "If you feel like writing some code, you could hack it in":
I'll try and find some time for it. Be aware I have some running IT projects
and am currently pursuing a cooking career (pays allot better:)) witch swallows
most of my time.

Robin said "Did you load the kernel modules?":
I'm currently running linux kernel 2.6.23.8 (gcc-4.2.3)
Tried to patch, generates errors.
Loading modules compiled for another kernel with another gcc version is not
something I want to do.

Mixxx crashes while not root:
Something strange here

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~] mixxx
Debug: Starting up...
Debug: Could not read /usr/share/mixxx/keyboard/Standard.kbd.cfg

Using gdb, the program doesn't segment.

Cpu usage of Rendering:
Yes, top shows increased usage of mixxx by 30+%

Oss <-> Alsa:

Apparently, when using alsa the latency fader has no effect.
Setting to oss, I didn't hear anything that shouldn't be there.
I still have to test the headphone output.

Configuration:
1 sound card for master & headphone
C-Media Electronics CM8738(5.1 card) using Alsa with Oss API

Regards
Notorious
