Hi guys, I've compromised and set up the board with the following forums:
- General Discussion - Troubleshooting & FAQ - Mixsets / Gigs / Events - Mixxxscellaneous (Off-Topic) Feature brainstorming would go in "General Discussion", but personally, it's not something that I like to encourage. It's a total mixed bag when users get brainstorming - Sometimes they come up with great ideas, but people generally have no idea how much work is involved with coding stuff. (Hell, even us developers are constantly underestimate the amount of work features are.) For serious developer-centric brainstorming, we should try using Launchpad's "Blueprints" section combined with our wiki. Our wiki has worked well in the past for feature brainstorming (remember the cue behaviour redesign?), and Launchpad will let us put a priority and release target on each feature. I guess I should mention something about Mixxx and Launchpad at this point (time for another email)... Thanks for all the feedback guys. We'll see how the forum layout works and if popularity necessitates it, we'll expand the number of forums.
