Hi guys, I did some serious hacking on Friday and Saturday on the library to help get it into shape for beta2. Along with the multiple selection stuff I added a few weeks ago, you can can now send songs to any playlist by right-clicking on a track.
The playlist menu at the top of the window can be used to create and import playlists, although I'll probably shuffle this stuff around and probably get rid of that menu. If you use the "Playlists" view in the library, double-click on one of your playlists will display it, and right-clicking on one of the playlists will allow you to send it to the play queue. I still haven't gotten playlist removal working, and I've yet to think of the best way to do playlist renaming. I might just add it as an option when you right click on a playlist. I also cleaned up a few sketchy bits of code in the library (although there's still some left, eg. TrackCollection's ID mechanism), which appears to have helped stability for me. Please test latest SVN and see if you still get crashes on startup or any other strange crashes. Lastly, I did some hacking to start hooking up the Shoutcast code to the preferences dialog, and I managed to do a test broadcast with Mixxx for 5 hours. :D Thanks, Albert ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
